Fall Shoot Added to Thousand Islands Gallery
I spent four days on the boat during the last week of October to capture the light and colours in the islands that few people see, having hauled their boats out earlier in the month. It is absolutely the best time of year here with little to no traffic, deserted islands and beautiful fall light, when it cooperates. Rising early and patience are the key.

Thousand Islands Gallery Added
Following a couple of early morning shoots I have begun a specific gallery for the Thousand Islands: Thousand Islands
Late fall is the perfect time to capture spectacular early morning light and if you let the temperature drop to the frost mark, you can capture the mist. Of course one must be extremely cautious navigating the islands in these conditions. Island shoals are already treacherous complicated by the particularly low water at this time of year and the very limited visibility in heavy fog.
