Cape Vincent French Festival Photos Added
Several photos from the Cape Vincent French Festival have been added to the Recently Added Gallery and Events Gallery. Bright midday sun is not my favourite light to shoot in but isolating a few of the participants in open shade helped to capture the mood and atmosphere of the popular festivities.
Please note the photos were removed from the Recently Added Gallery on September 2nd. They may still be viewed in the Events Gallery.

Brockville Hydroplanes Race Photos Added
Scenes added from the 2015 Brockville Hydroplanes Races this past weekend. Images were shot from the water. The images may be found in the Recently Added and Hydroplane Galleries.

Scenes from the Brockville Shipping Channel Added
Passing ships and birds found along the Three Sisters Islands off Brockville were recently photographed from the water. Homes also have a completely different look from the water. Images may be found in the Recently Added Gallery and the Thousand Islands and Ships Galleries.

I have added a new section to to the website, 'How to Articles: Photographic Tips and Techniques'
If you are interested in taking photos, I share with you some of my thoughts on photography. I also provide some tips and techniques that may assist you with your photographs. The articles are fairly basic and briefly describe my approach to creating images. It is not my intention to post here regularly, but I have put up a couple of articles to start the section. Alexandria Bay Poker Run 2015
Shots from last weekend of the Alexandria Bay Poker Run have been added to the Recently Added and Marine - High Performance Galleries. I have included images from the launch site at Keewaydin State Park and the run in the Clayton to Cape Vincent area. As always, a few different edits are used to create the final image. Additional photos will be uploaded to the site over the next week.
